Mia has a Bachelor degree in Universal Studies with emphasis in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico and A.A.S degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement from Mclennan Community College in Waco, Texas.
She is a Licensed Bail bondsman serving the following counties; Hill, Bosque, Freestone, Burleson and Milam. She is licensed by the State of Texas in Property and Casualty License. Mia is also the Founder of Real Talk With Real Women Social /Empowerment group for women of all ages, from various backgrounds and walks of life. She is also the author of the book called The Steps of a Real Woman " From Harm to Hurt to Hustle" that was released in February of 2018 and the Co- Author of the book called P.O.W.E.R Single Moms ( Perserverance, Overcome, Win, Empower, Restore).
Mia Thomas is a native of Jesup, Georgia and the daughter of the retired Army First SSG , Author, and Dr. Debra Mobley- Sadler and the Late Rev. Thomas W. Sadler. She is the proud mother of three adult children, Mara, Tyrell and Vincent, Jr. Thomas and the grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren, Masen A. Waggoner and Jadience T. Thomas.
She is a member of Abundant Love Fellowship Church, Waco, Texas, where she serves under the leadership of Pastor Edward Ross and First Lady Sheila Ross and serves on the board.
One-on-one assistance with a case manager to assist clients with setting and working towards reaching their goals that will put them on the path to self –reliance, support and providing safety for themselves and their families.
We provide ongoing support to individuals who need assistance at our One-Stop Resource Center.
RTDRCTH, Inc. responds to inquires from the community seeking information on emergency services, housing, health care, rental assistance, transportation assistance, churches, substance abuse services, and other resources.
We assess individuals needs and make referrals to appropriate resources and agencies in throughout the Central Texas community.
All referrals are accepted from people who are in a crisis- concerned residents, churches, social service agencies, and/or jails/prisons.
Volunteer, unpaid work, giving back to the community. Volunteer services are open to individuals that have been court ordered to complete a specific number of hours to satisfy court requirements. No violent offenders accepted.
